Hey kids.
This journal has been quiet lately because I'm currently finishing my degree and graduation is imminent. Scarily imminent. Once I finish, there will probably be some icon posts. But then.... I will be without internet at our new apartment, so there will be fewer posts once again. So, yes. Just an update.

10:28 am - I'm not dead, I swear.
Wow, I have been completely absent from this journal for a long time. (Well, no, I do check my friends page here and there.) I haven't forgotten about it though; I'm working on some fashion bases right now. The thing is, real life has been interfering. This is my last semester of college, and my mind is filled with homework, classes, journalism, post-graduation unemployment anxiety, thoughts of my boyfriend, etc...... The usual.
Anyways, I'll stop rambling at you. Expect some bases within the week. ;)

Just a note to say that I haven't kicked the bucket. My life has lately been papers, papers, presentations, newspaper, papers, and of course boyfriend. Not much room for icons and lj.
I have friended people who have friended me. Sorry for the delay with that. Welcome aboard. I hope to post more frequently once this semester is finished.

It's been nearly a month since I last posted in here. I really can't believe the time went so fast. I have been extremely busy with homework, newspaper obligations, and an amazing new boyfriend. And to think that it is almost Christmas! (but before then, finals and papers...)
That said, I have some new bases to post. They feature the work of Judith K. McMillan, who photographs plants and insects with an X-ray machine. Her work was featured in an exhibit at the art museum on campus, and it is absolutely gorgeous in person. Also, I was lucky enough to interview her for the newspaper.

Wow, my life was pretty hectic the past couple of weeks! I had Rocky Horror (my final year! sob!), plus school newspaper and homework and all that fun stuff. I didn't sleep for about a week; it was insane. Thus, this icon journal got neglected. Hopefully things will chill out for a while. *crosses fingers* I'm home for the weekend, so hopefully I will have some time to make bases and things.
Got any base requests/suggestions that I can work on this weekend?
